"While attending a meeting for work in Houston, I asked a local co-attendee where I should stop for lunch. He suggested Savor Grill & BBQ. Ya' know what... he was right! The service was friendly and VERY quick, the prices were reasonable, but the food... oh yeah! I had the Smoked Turkey Sandwich and Fries. It passed my smoked meat test... does it need sauce to make it good? This turkey was juicy and tender and tasted great! I don't know when I'll ever be back in Houston. But when I am, I'm headed to Savor! Thanks Ron!"

"I recently placed an order there and asked for no cheese on my break I stopped and grabbed it when I got back to work I found out that there was cheese on it. I called back due to having Alpha Gal I can't have the cheese BUT the owner got on the phone and offered to make me another one and bring it to my work due to me not being able to leave again !! I will say that was very nice and thoughtful!!! I really appreciated that gesture !!! I love Savor and what a great business owner they have !!!"

"Debbie runs the best restaurant in town! Our family loves to go there anytime we can. Our favorites are the brisket, nachos (minus pork & beans), and all kinds of local raised beef sandwiches to chose from. Their salads are great and there are several appetizers to choose from. The french fries are the best we've had anywhere and their lemonade is our kid's favorite (we usually order it by the jug). Their large selection on the menu is sure to please any variety of dietary needs and tastes, and prices are very reasonable for the large portions you receive. They even cater, which we have had them do for a wedding. Brandon, Troy, and Candy are incredible at caring for all the customers! When you visit, they all make you feel like family. We highly recommend Savors to everyone!"

"We've eaten at a LOT of BBQ places and Savor is by far one of the best BBQ places. It exceeds every place in Springfield & St. Louis (Pappy's in St. Louis is the only one that's comparable). We love the small town feel but the big city taste. Debbie, the owner is very sweet and cares about her customers."

"Best BBQ hands down! Hannah our server was friendly and did an awesome job with her recommendations! We ordered the BBQ dinners. My husband had the 3 meat plate with double brisket and turkey, okra and chips. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs, okra and fries. The brisket was cooked to perfection as was everything else! We will definitely be back!"

"Good food. Average pricing. Quite good and attentive service. We had a large group and came in at lunch time. They were able to seat us quickly, and while the food was slightly delayed, we were well taken care of with beverages and whatnot while we waited. The delay on the food was not a big deal as they were busy and we were a good size group. I would recommend calling ahead which we did not do. I would definitely go again."
